Welcome To Youth Health And Empowerment Foundation
The Youth Health and Empowerment Foundation website brings together the impactful work of two youth-focused non-governmental organizations founded by Dr Yetunde Olagbuji — the Youth Health and Life Skills Development Initiative and the Yetunde Olagbuji Youth Empowerment Seed Foundation. Both organizations are dedicated to raising a generation of informed, confident, healthy, and purpose-driven young people through education, mentorship, health promotion, leadership development, and empowerment programs. The foundation exists to provide adolescents and youths with the knowledge, life skills, and opportunities they need to make positive choices and become agents of change in their communities.
Youth Health and Life Skills Development Initiative (YHLDI) established in 2017, focuses primarily on improving the health of the adolescents through life skills education, mentorship, and community development by its engagement in school outreaches, advocacy campaigns, leadership symposiums, webinars and youth –centered health education initiatives.
The Yetunde Olagbuji Youth Empowerment Seed Foundation equally complements YHLDI’s mission by focusing on youth empowerment, leadership cultivation, and creation of sustainable opportunities for personal and social transformation.
Together, the two NGOs serve as a platform for nurturing young people to discover their potential, develop valuable life and leadership skills, and contribute meaningfully to the society.
